Brooklyn’s Mike Wexler certainly is no newcomer anymore, after already having released stuff under his real name since 2005. He’s just released his second album Dispossession via Mexican Summer and I want to seize the chance to familiarize you guys with his music.

Out of nothing, he surprises the listener with a collection of 7 haunting songs, all of them beautiful in their own way. Listening to Mike Wexler’s new stuff is like weightlessly floating through space in a dream you never want to end. Dispossession is maybe the best album of 2012 so far.
