Our favourite song off Labrador City‘s last year’s debut album Reverie finally gets a dignified video to go with. The video for “Shadows” was directed by Maison Standard.

“Trouble” is a brand new jam by our friends Labrador City from Berne, Switzerland. Still the four bandmembers rely on their big strengths: The lacy guitar-licks and their nose for gorgeous melodies – without sounding like a cheap copy of their older stuff. Summer in Switzerland can be so relaxing with music like this.

After a brilliant show with Montreal’s Handsome Furs last Wednesday, we (Erasedtapes) are organizing another event at Treibhaus in Lucerne this Saturday.
Our guests are indie-pop outfits Labrador City and Silver Firs (formerly known as Must Have Been Tokyo) from Berne, Switzerland. The whole event is named after their own label Oh, Sister Records. More information on the event can be found on Facebook.

While sitting in my garden, I’m watching this new summerly video by Niklas, Moritz, Marc and Dominique from Bern’s indie-pop collective Labrador City. It contains their beautiful song «Cornelia».
After the release of their Volcano EP back in March, the guys now seem to have left their little cottage in the Swiss mountains (remember the last video?) for a trip to the seaside!

We finally experience the beginning of spring here in Switzerland. Spring, that means sunshine, lots of fresh colours and relaxing trips outside with your friends. Well, that’s exactly what the three guys of Labrador City did. They searched for inspiraton in the Swiss mountains and filmed the whole thing for their first ever music video “Feathers”. Lovely indie rock straight from our capital city Bern.
By the way, these guys are also doing some electronic stuff: The band consists of members of the glorious producer duo Round Table Knights and the DJ’s Mickey Morris. Watch the video, download the song and also check out the band’s label Oh, Sister for further information.
