Korsett is a well-known and -regarded collective of DJs, musicians, graphic- and sound-designers based in our hometown Lucerne and also a host of clubnights (with acts like Rustie, Evian Christ, Karenn, Machinedrum, …) at Südpol club, Lucerne.
The collective recently announced Good Girls, a new 3-song EP by Hood Regulators, a (former) DJ team consisting of Leisure Options and Kackmusikk (RBMA participant 2011). Since Monday you can download the release for free via Korsett’s web store. Good Girls is composed of elements from different genres and trends of contemporary and underground electronic music such as juke, trance, «trap» or post R&B. Definitely worth a listen!

Title track ‘Good Girls (Gotta Get Down With The Gangster)’ confesses to a proper clubanthem: Epic Trance-Moments blend with pawns of US HipHop-productions.

Yo! After some relaxing, skiing and partying during the last few days, we’re already back with some brand new tunes for the beginning of 2012 for you guys. This time they’re coming from Kackmusikk, a young producer and DJ based in our hometown Lucerne, who has just released his debut EP on Korsett.
Stella contains three tracks, which are full of super fast 808-sounds and rhythms, spacy synths and even vocals by Lucerne-based band Field Studies in the title track. Korsett describes the record as a «3-track piece to celebrate club culture without disregarding the subtleties of electronic music» with an unmistakeable «affinity to the current UK-bassmusic».
One (promo) track off the EP, «Back & Forth», is available below, the others can be streamed and/or purchased over at Bandcamp.
