Ewok Fur is the strange moniker of a german-based bedroom producer whose hazy, tropical lo-fi tracks have just reached me this afternoon. It was one of our dear readers who advised me to listen to his songs.

One of my favourite bands of the last three years, The Antlers, announced the release of a new EP called (together) last month. The EP features collaborations with Neon Indian, Bear in Heaven among others and also an amazing cover of The xx song “VCR”. Download it below.
The EP (together) will be out via Frenchkiss on November 22.

Finally we get to hear new stuff by electronic dream-pop artist Anthony Gonzalez, better known under the moniker M83!
After having released one of my favourite albums of 2008 Saturdays=Youth, he now announced a new (double) album for this autumn. The LP is going feature contributions from Zola Jesus, Medicine’s Brad Laner, Justin Meldal-Johnsen (Beck, Nine Inch Nails), and Saturdays=Youth collaborator Morgan Kibby.
Cannot wait! Below there is a first free mp3 he just gave away. It’s called “Midnight City” and is a perfect teaser for the new album. On October 18, Mute will release the album called Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming!

Hotel Mexico is a indie-pop act from Kyoto, Japan. To be honest, I haven’t heard of them before but their dreamy new jam “Dear Les Friends” is just pure 70′s awesomeness. Download it and enjoy the sun.

W-H-I-T-E is the musical project of California based Cory Thomas Hanson. He recently released his newest LP called Twin Tigers. Part of this nice album is “Fountain”, a six minute dream-pop song, which reminds a lot of The Ruby Suns.
Twin Tigers can be streamed over at his bandcamp and is out now on Swill Children.

Wild Nothing’s debut record Gemini will definitely be on my year’s end list of albums. And with the two leading songs “Chinatown” and “Summer Holiday” there are also two candidates for best songs!
Even nicer to here that Jack Tatum and his men now decided to release some more music this year. The Summer Haze EP will drop this fall via Captured Tracks. It’s tracklisting is different for each format. Check the dreamy “Golden Haze”, a first song from the EP, below!
