BOY is the new project of Zurich, Switzerland born singer Valeska Steiner. Consisting of her and her Hamburg based friend Sonja Glass, BOY are maybe one of the most exciting new acts in Switzerland.

Listening to their buoyant pop songs you might slightly be reminded of Feist, but you can also here the two girls’ affection for Scandinavian songwriters as Nina Kinert and the like. You can be sure that BOY will succeed with their music, it’s just too satisfying.

Their debut album Mutual Friends is going to be released September 2nd via Grönland Records. It features well-known musicians just as Helgi Jonsson (Sigur Ros) and Thomas Hedlund (Phoenix).
