As some of you may have already heard, we’re organizing concerts at the Treibhaus club in our hometown Lucerne. Our group, which consists of four young people, is called «Erasedtapes».
On May 11, our guests are LA’s New Wave favs Abe Vigoda for an exclusive Swiss show. Support will come from Munch Munch (UK). Further information can be found on the event page on Facebook.

Back in 2008 there was quite a big hype about the four boys of Abe Vigoda. Their debut Skeleton had some really great moments and was much better than a lot of the albums being hyped back in that year.
Two years later the L.A. based band is about to release a sophomore record called Crush which is dominated by cold synths, melancholic lyrics and some really icy guitar licks that remind of the Xx. Only the song “To Tears” reminds of the Mae Shi-like punk rock sound from the first album, all the other songs remind of the New Wave movement of the 80′s. But somehow Abe Vigoda manage not to sound boring at all, unlike a lot of other bands that took this way. Each and every song is a great thing to discover and invites you to hear it several times more. This album might be one of the best ones in this genre this year so far. Highly recommended!
