Melancholic electro-pop outfit Redder from Helsinki indulge us with the brandnew video for their song “Faster”, which was originally released in October 2012. This trippy piece of eye candy was shot by Veli-Matti Hoikka and Aapo Huhta.
Download the song below and find more music on Redder’s bandcamp page. The band will release a six song EP this spring.
Just a few minutes ago I was sent the new single by Inspired And The Sleepfrom San Diego. We already talked about them several times last year. The new song “Sink” is a joyous indie pop tune and “represents a new writing style, progressed live show, refined production, and overall feel to the project”, as the guy behind the project, Max Greenhalgh, says.
It was only last year when Rolf Laureijs, the self-taught musician behind Wavering Hands, started recording music on his own. But what the 20-year old produced in his bedroom, with not much more at hand than a laptop and a cheap mic, has left an impression. His lo-fi attempt on pop music reminds of genre flagships Beach Fossils, Craft Spells or Wild Nothing, but is still breaking new grounds.
Wavering Hands’ first EP is called “I Remember Nothing” will be out Feb 1, 2013 on Oh, Sister Records. In the meantime, download the excellent opener “No Constant” for free on bandcamp, or here below.
After a line-up change earlier this year, Dans La Tentehave announced a new split 7-inch together with their Lucerne mates Field Studies in October. This new song “Beliefs” won’t be on the 7”, but is offered by the band as a free download to their listeners. We’re proud to share it with you!
Schwimmeris the moniker of Lucerne-based musician Silvio Zeder, who has played in several bands before concentrating on his solo work. Now he’s producing beautiful little gems in his bedroom, creating piano-heavy tracks with some warm beats. Check out his new song “Enough” below:

Our local favorites Dans La Tente have finally done it: Following their 2009 Knights-EP and last year’s 7”-single As Long As The Heart Keeps Beating, they’re now presenting their long-awaited debut record: Did We Like It So Far Or Have We Just Persevered?.
Listening to their new songs you can tell that their music is no longer what it used to be in 2009. Leaving the path of New Wave they now have clear influences of Post-Rock and jangly indie-pop, but it unmistakably still is the same band. “Yawn” starts quiet and spheric but then suddenly turns into one great pop song, which could easily fill a big stadium with its epic seeming arrangement.
Download “Yawn” exclusively and listen to another new cut, the no less great “Wavering Hands”, below.
Did We Like It So Far Or Have We Just Persevered? will be out September 23 via beloved Goldon Records. Be sure to get it when it’s out!
