For once we get a cover that really says something about the album title: The picture above belongs to the upcoming new EP by Chicago quintet A Lull, bearing the name Meat Mountain. Off this new release, the band offers us the summery, heavily percussive “Summer Dress” for free download. Nice.
The EP will be released June 26, 2012 via Lujo Records.

In a press release, he says the new album was inspired by motorcycle rides he took in Los Angeles after a long hiatus following an accident. (via Pitchfork)

Almost a year ago we booked the completely unknown Liverpool indie-folk-trio Stealing Sheep for a show in Lucerne. And we definitely loved what we got to hear! In the meantime the three girls have signed with Heavenly Recordings, are getting lot of plays at BBC radio and are about to release their debut album soon.
The first single off the yet to be named record is the lovely “Shut Eye”. Also make sure to check out their amazing new video for “I Am The Rain” below.
