new on the map | CUCKOO CHAOS

It’s quite a rare but nice thing to discover a band through a b-side of theirs. It happened to me when I heard Cuckoo Chaos‘ “Jamb Song” last month, a song that is part of their Jesus Flag American Fish 7” (out now via Lefse Records).

After having heard this amazing track I also listened to the a-side and today to another cut called “Just Ride It”, also part their upcoming debut album Woman. Just these three songs are enough to tell you that these 5 San Diego boys have immense potential. I’m sure they will deliver a great debut record.

So if you’re a fan of jangly and twitchy indie pop of either Vampire Weekend or Fool’s Gold, make sure to check these guys out. Also show them some love on facebook!
