I just was told that The Drums new album is all systems go-go. Today they have painted all their web portals black and left just one mysterious video as a clue of what’s to come. It’s called “Portamento” and only contains some wobbling synths and blurry pictures of the band in the studio and of the sea. Is “Portamento” the name of the sophomore album? Is it a song? Or just a name for the teaser?

Update: Our reader Hayeon Kim quotes The Drums’ singer Jonathan who apparently sait that it’s the name of the second album!

For the moment let’s enjoy The Drums’ biggest hit “Let’s Go Surfing” once again.
